review//WHEN IN ROME
Another blah early year release that was a waste of money. This one I actually bought my ticket for, and for that I feel lame. It follows Kristen Bell as she travels to Rome and, in a drunken stupor, saves some coins from the good luck fountain. The coins she saves is of men who end up following her wherever she goes, drooling. The concept wasn't that great, but I'll give props to the filmmakers (and actors) for doing what they could to make it mildly entertaining.
Wait until it comes to DVD. But, even then, make sure you check the entire "New Release" section before you settle for this one.
review//LEAP YEAR
Lame. That's all I really have to say.
The story follows Amy Adams as she races to Ireland to propose to her boyfriend on Leap Day (an Irish tradition that "allows" the girl to propose to the guy). The premise was somewhat interesting. The execution was not. That's really all I feel like writing about this one. Haha.
Luckily, I didn't buy my ticket for this one.

Here are the recipients of this year's HFPA Golden Globe Awards. Though I only predicted 13 of the 25 right, I'm pretty happy with the winners (yay Sandra Bullock. ha). And Ricky Gervais wasn't too bad as the host...
